Part-Time Bookkeeper
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of small business bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks proficiency (required)
- Strong Excel skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Able to take initiative on your own while supporting shared team goals
- Comfortable with a fully remote workflow
- Promote clear, open, and prompt communication across the team
- Strong eye for how processes work, with a focus on complete and precise record-keeping
Nice To Have
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- CPA, EA, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, or Xero Advisor certification
- Experience with Xero or Wave
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Reconcile accounts and deliver monthly P&L reports and balance sheets
- Manage cash accounts and maintain a reliable cash flow projection process
- Perform monthly and year-end close procedures, meeting all project deadlines
- Communicate with clients via email to gather information, follow up on outstanding items, and keep projects moving
- Coordinate with the internal team and flag questions or discrepancies to the lead CPA
