Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in medical office settings or healthcare-related administrative roles
- Familiarity with managed care processes, insurance verification, and medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10/ICD coding)
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Office experience with proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems or applicant tracking software
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with candidates and internal teams
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Nice-to-have: dental office experience or prior work in managed care environments
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and facilitate the initial candidate intake process, including screening resumes and scheduling interviews
- Gather comprehensive candidate information through interviews, assessments, and documentation collection
- Maintain accurate records of applicant data, interview notes, and hiring status updates in applicant tracking systems
- Communicate clearly with candidates regarding application status, next steps, and required documentation
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely candidate placement
- Verify candidate credentials, including medical office experience, managed care knowledge, and relevant certifications
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by handling sensitive medical records and personal information securely
