Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in medical office settings or healthcare-related administrative roles
  • Familiarity with managed care processes, insurance verification, and medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10/ICD coding)
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
  • Office experience with proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems or applicant tracking software
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with candidates and internal teams
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Nice-to-have: dental office experience or prior work in managed care environments

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and facilitate the initial candidate intake process, including screening resumes and scheduling interviews
  • Gather comprehensive candidate information through interviews, assessments, and documentation collection
  • Maintain accurate records of applicant data, interview notes, and hiring status updates in applicant tracking systems
  • Communicate clearly with candidates regarding application status, next steps, and required documentation
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely candidate placement
  • Verify candidate credentials, including medical office experience, managed care knowledge, and relevant certifications
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by handling sensitive medical records and personal information securely
