Remote Hotel Sales Manager
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of hotel sales experience (group, transient, or both)
- Experience with Marriott, Hilton and IHG required; Power of M preferred
- Strong command of RFP Platforms, PMS Systems, CRMs and Microsoft Office
- Strong outbound habits—you generate a pipeline, not wait for it
- Self-directed and able to manage multiple properties independently
- New England familiarity preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Catcher – qualify all inquiries and RFPs, send out Rate Approvals, Contracts and Authorizations, close what best fits the property, and assist hotels in setting up groups in the PMS
- Prospecting – use Lead Sources to cold call potential accounts, find Decision Makers, Shift Share and book Base Business
- Sit on Revenue and Sales Calls at the property level; Attend Hunter Company meetings
- Maintain accurate records in hotel CRMs and provide regular pipeline and booking reports
- Coordinate with hotel teams (front desk, F&B, revenue) to ensure smooth client experiences and hold rooms to contract.
