REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED
1+ year in a phone-based role such as call center, patient outreach, scheduling, collections, customer service, or inside sales
Clear, warm, professional phone presence and strong listening skills
Comfort with a script and with repetition, plus the judgment to stay inside it
Accurate data entry and reliable documentation habits
Basic computer skills (CRM or scheduling software, email, Google Workspace or Microsoft Office)
Dependable attendance and the ability to work a consistent daily schedule
Ability to pass a background check

Preferred

Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, a health plan, or a Medicaid-serving organization
Familiarity with HIPAA and TCPA requirements for patient outreach
Prior experience with member enrollment, patient scheduling, or benefit verification
Bilingual (Spanish/English or other languages spoken in the St. Louis area)
Familiarity with the communities we serve across the St. Louis metro

RESPONSIBILITES

Place a high volume of outbound calls to health plan members from assigned outreach lists
Deliver the approved enrollment script accurately and consistently on every call, without improvising clinical or benefit information
Explain the MTM benefit in plain language and address common member questions and objections
Verify member identity and demographic information per HIPAA requirements
Capture and document member consent to participate
Schedule enrolled members for their pharmacist consultation
Log every call outcome, disposition, and note in our system the same day
Honor do-not-call and opt-out requests immediately and document them correctly
Escalate clinical questions to a pharmacist rather than answering them yourself
Meet daily and weekly targets for calls placed, contacts made, and members enrolled
Participate in call reviews and coaching sessions to keep quality and compliance high
