Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., nonprofit management, public administration, social sciences).
- 2-3+ years of experience in nonprofit program management or related leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and managing complex projects.
- Strong budgeting and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience working with underserved communities and developing programs that are sensitive to their needs.
RESPONSIBILITES
Program Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and refine a strategic vision for all programs, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and long‑term goals.
- Oversee the full program lifecycle—from needs assessment and design to implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a member of the leadership team, contributing to organizational planning and policy development.
Program Management & Delivery
- Lead day‑to‑day operations across multiple program areas, ensuring high‑quality, timely, and within‑budget delivery of services.
- Translate grant contracts and strategic goals into actionable work plans with clear objectives and performance measures.
- Oversee monitoring and evaluation systems to track KPIs and demonstrate program impact.
Staff Leadership & Development
- Supervise program staff; train and mentor team members.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional development.
Budgeting & Financial Oversight
- Manage multi‑faceted program budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, and variance analysis.
- Support development staff in preparing grant proposal budgets and ensuring realistic timelines and staffing plans.
Grants, Reporting & Compliance
- Support grant‑related activities, including identifying opportunities, contributing to grant applications, ensuring compliance, and submitting timely reports.
- Track reporting deadlines and prepare narrative and financial reports for funders and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
- Cultivate relationships with funders, community partners, government agencies, and beneficiaries.
- Represent the organization in community meetings, coalitions, and advocacy efforts.
