Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency in English and other languages to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret and communicate health-related information
- Excellent communication skills to foster trust and rapport with patients and team members
- Strong computer skills including data entry, electronic health record management, and general office software
- Customer service experience with a focus on empathy, patience, and active listening
- Phone etiquette expertise to handle inquiries professionally while maintaining a positive tone
- Prior medical office experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for all necessary procedures
- Analysis skills to assess patient needs quickly and provide appropriate support or referrals
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer incoming calls promptly with professional phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with clarity and compassion
- Assist patients in scheduling appointments, confirming details, and providing essential information about medical services
- Collect and verify patient information using accurate data entry practices to ensure records are current and complete
- Utilize computer skills to navigate electronic health records systems efficiently and securely
- Communicate medical terminology clearly to patients, ensuring they understand their appointments and instructions
- Support the medical office team by managing correspondence, updating patient files, and handling administrative tasks
- Demonstrate strong analysis skills to identify patient needs and escalate issues appropriately for timely resolution
