REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience working in a medical or dental office setting with familiarity in medical office procedures.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental and sleep apnea treatments.
- Experience providing medical administrative support including scheduling, record keeping, and insurance coordination.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
- Prior experience in dental office settings is highly desirable.
- Effective communication skills to interact empathetically with patients and team members.
- Proficiency in office software applications such as electronic health records (EHR) systems and scheduling tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet patients warmly and assist with appointment scheduling and confirmations to optimize daily clinic flow.
- Collect and verify patient information, ensuring accuracy of medical records and insurance details.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, insurance coverage, and follow-up instructions.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate timely patient care and document all interactions accurately.
- Manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized patient records.
- Support billing processes by verifying insurance information and assisting with claim submissions when necessary.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming environment that promotes patient comfort and trust.
