REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience working in a medical or dental office setting with familiarity in medical office procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental and sleep apnea treatments.
  • Experience providing medical administrative support including scheduling, record keeping, and insurance coordination.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
  • Prior experience in dental office settings is highly desirable.
  • Effective communication skills to interact empathetically with patients and team members.
  • Proficiency in office software applications such as electronic health records (EHR) systems and scheduling tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet patients warmly and assist with appointment scheduling and confirmations to optimize daily clinic flow.
  • Collect and verify patient information, ensuring accuracy of medical records and insurance details.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, insurance coverage, and follow-up instructions.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate timely patient care and document all interactions accurately.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized patient records.
  • Support billing processes by verifying insurance information and assisting with claim submissions when necessary.
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming environment that promotes patient comfort and trust.
