REQUIREMENTS

8+ years in payments, with 3+ years in a leadership role in a CFD, forex, brokerage, or other high-risk industry
Strong existing network of PSPs, acquirers, and alternative payment providers serving forex/CFD
Solid understanding of high-risk payment processing, chargeback management, and card scheme rules
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FCA, CySEC, ASIC, FSCA, or similar) related to client funds and payments
Experience with payment routing, failover, and multi-PSP setups
Data-driven approach, with familiarity with CRM and trading platforms (MT4/MT5, cTrader, or proprietary)
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field

RESPONSIBILITES

Own the end-to-end payments strategy for client deposits and withdrawals across all regions and entities
Manage relationships with PSPs, acquiring banks, crypto payment providers, e-wallets, and local payment method providers
Expand payment coverage: cards, bank transfers, local methods, e-wallets, and crypto
Maximize deposit approval rates, cut processing costs, and negotiate fees and rolling reserves
Speed up withdrawal processing and settlement while keeping fraud and abuse under control
Manage chargebacks, disputes, and card scheme monitoring programs (Visa/Mastercard)
Work closely with Compliance on AML/KYC, source-of-funds checks, and third-party payment rules
Handle high-risk merchant requirements, including MCC 6211 classification, underwriting, and account continuity
Oversee safeguarding, client fund segregation, and daily reconciliation with Finance
Build payment risk controls and fraud detection with Risk and Security teams
Track KPIs: deposit conversion, approval rate, chargeback ratio, cost per transaction, withdrawal TAT, and net deposits
Lead and grow a team across payments ops, reconciliation, and vendor management
