JOB DETAILS
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years year of Credentialing experience
- 2-5 years Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems
- Database management skills, including querying, reporting and document generation
- Ability to work independently and determine work priorities
- Excellent attention to detail
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitates maintaining a comprehensive credentialing program
- Ensures all expired credentials are reviewed, obtained, and managed on a timely basis according to the credentialing processes and policies.
- Collect and verify provider information and documentation for credentialing
- Prepare and submit credentialing applications to insurance companies
- Track and follow up on credentialing applications and re-credentialing processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records
- Provide and engage in excellent customer service with practices and other entities related to the organization
- Stay informed about changes in credentialing requirements and regulations
