REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years year of Credentialing experience
  • 2-5 years Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Database management skills, including querying, reporting and document generation
  • Ability to work independently and determine work priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitates maintaining a comprehensive credentialing program
  • Ensures all expired credentials are reviewed, obtained, and managed on a timely basis according to the credentialing processes and policies.
  • Collect and verify provider information and documentation for credentialing
  • Prepare and submit credentialing applications to insurance companies
  • Track and follow up on credentialing applications and re-credentialing processes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records
  • Provide and engage in excellent customer service with practices and other entities related to the organization
  • Stay informed about changes in credentialing requirements and regulations
