Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with small business bookkeeping
- Strong QuickBooks knowledge (Online preferred)
- Ability to independently assess and clean up financial records
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Clear communication and practical problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with California small business requirements
- Experience with payroll systems and Calsavers
- Understanding of depreciation, business assets, or basic tax prep support
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and organize financial records for the current year
- Clean up and maintain books in QuickBooks
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy for 2026
- Categorize transactions and prepare basic financial reports
- Help establish clean, consistent systems moving forward
- Coordinate with owner as needed
