Remote Full Charge Bookkeeper
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of technical accounting principles.
- Familiarity with GAAP standards and governmental accounting practices is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis accurately.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record and process journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to ensure the integrity of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- generate quarterly and annual payroll reports
- Maintain thorough documentation of all bookkeeping activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations for audit readiness.
