Associate Client Manager
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- 2-5 years of experience in an insurance or reinsurance company or brokerage or another related insurance field in a similar function with client management or business development
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Insurance, or a related field. Professional designations in insurance/ reinsurance is of advantage
- Understanding of Non-Life insurance/reinsurance business in the GCC region, preferably across various lines and types of (re)insurance business
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Familiarity with accounting, finance, underwriting and actuarial concepts.
- Team playing capabilities, ability to work in a multicultural environment, experience in an international environment is of advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in business English is a must, literacy in Arabic is a strong advantage
- Cross-cultural competence, willingness to travel
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote our client’s image as a leading reinsurance provider through professional client interactions and active industry networking.
- Apply technical expertise (e.g., actuarial, mathematical, risk management, underwriting) to support client discussions and solution development.
- Coordinate internal resources to ensure smooth execution of client engagements, cooperation and delivery of services.
- Prepare and analyse client and market data to inform strategic decisions and renewal planning.
- Provide support to maintain strong business relationships with our client’s Non-Life clients, including market intelligence gathering, renewal facilitation, and account coordination.
- Contribute to the execution of client/broker and market strategies, helping to deliver results aligned with our client’s regional objectives.
- Actively participate in client meetings and internal strategy sessions to gain exposure to relationship dynamics, with the objective of eventually take ownership of selected accounts.
- Build familiarity with client portfolios and develop capability to lead engagements with smaller and less complex accounts independently.
- Support the development and promotion of reinsurance services within defined markets, identifying opportunities and enhancing client value.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to internal reporting and planning processes.
