Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrable experience within the sporting/music events industry, coupled with a strong drive to build and nurture networks.
  • A sales expert with a proven ability to manage sales pipelines, forecast sales, and build strong client relationships that lead to revenue growth.
  • A strategic thinker with a clear understanding of current and future market trends, business landscapes, and specific client needs, capable of identifying and executing successful sales strategies.
  • Commercially astute, understanding industry trends, and customer behaviours.
  • Able to understand and articulate how Aggreko’s products and services match customer applications.
  • An excellent communicator, able to effectively build relationships with clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to secure and grow key accounts sectors across the UK & Ireland.
  • Manage and expand existing major event accounts and cultivate new key accounts by building a robust network of contacts.
  • Represent Aggreko at industry meetings and conferences.
  • Lead bid and proposal teams for customer and account presentations, driving negotiations and account growth.
  • Support the development of the sales plan, ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, delivering market analysis reports including potential accounts and market trending.
  • Work closely with the Global Accounts team to maximise opportunities within the region.
