Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- High school graduate, Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
- Knowledge of Company products and sales policies and procedures.
- Customer service and data entry experience preferred.
- Must be proficient with Excel
- Excellent communications and public relations skills.
- Proficient with PC, Office software applications, calculator, and office equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assumes responsibility for the accurate entry of customer commits, bulks and contracts.
- Acknowledges all Customer commits. Verifies pricing, styles, colors, case packs, graphics & teams. Notifies sales associates of anticipated availability and container tracking.
- Processes colorways, order review, bulk uploads (including licensing samples, ad samples & imaging bulks).
- Maintains files, including master file and standing order files, material determination, UPC databases (both Kerp and customer specific file maintenance).
- Researches and resolves problems with orders, working closely with Customer Service, Sales and Data Foundations groups.
- Sends sample shipments to customers and sales. Works with Customer Service when allocation of product is in short supply (substitutions).
- Assumes responsibility for effectively performing miscellaneous retail services functions.
- Assists Sales with set ups and processing new customers. Sends literature and/or price lists (cads, colorways and product samples).
- Maintains daily activities and updates manager.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relations with customers.
- Resolves questions, requests, and problems promptly and courteously.
- Keeps sales associates informed of status of their orders and accounts.
- Politely obtains and conveys information as needed.
- Maintains the Company’s professional reputation.
- Provides superior customer service.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with Company personnel and management.
- Assists and supports area personnel as needed.
- Coordinates with the Accounting Department.
- Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
- Attends and participates in meetings as required.
