Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school graduate, Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
  • Knowledge of Company products and sales policies and procedures.
  • Customer service and data entry experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient with Excel
  • Excellent communications and public relations skills.
  • Proficient with PC, Office software applications, calculator, and office equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assumes responsibility for the accurate entry of customer commits, bulks and contracts.
    • Acknowledges all Customer commits. Verifies pricing, styles, colors, case packs, graphics & teams. Notifies sales associates of anticipated availability and container tracking.
    • Processes colorways, order review, bulk uploads (including licensing samples, ad samples & imaging bulks).
    • Maintains files, including master file and standing order files, material determination, UPC databases (both Kerp and customer specific file maintenance).
    • Researches and resolves problems with orders, working closely with Customer Service, Sales and Data Foundations groups.
    • Sends sample shipments to customers and sales. Works with Customer Service when allocation of product is in short supply (substitutions).
  • Assumes responsibility for effectively performing miscellaneous retail services functions.
    • Assists Sales with set ups and processing new customers. Sends literature and/or price lists (cads, colorways and product samples).
    • Maintains daily activities and updates manager.
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relations with customers.
    • Resolves questions, requests, and problems promptly and courteously.
    • Keeps sales associates informed of status of their orders and accounts.
    • Politely obtains and conveys information as needed.
    • Maintains the Company’s professional reputation.
    • Provides superior customer service.
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with Company personnel and management.
    • Assists and supports area personnel as needed.
    • Coordinates with the Accounting Department.
    • Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
    • Attends and participates in meetings as required.
