Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience working with physicians to facilitate day-to-day care operations in a fast-paced setting; experience in a mental health-focused setting a plus
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with prior experience in client relations and ability to interface with cross-functional and clinical teams
  • Strong tracking and documentation capabilities with a demonstrated ability to execute on operational processes
  • Proactive clinical case management experience with demonstrated ability to take initiative on anticipating and resolving patient needs
  • Aptitude for / experience with a variety of tech tools and products (e.g. Google Suite, Salesforce, Zoom, learning management systems, etc.)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and balance priorities in a dynamic and constantly evolving work environment
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to effectively balance multiple priorities
  • Experience with basic healthcare software, such as an EMR and prescribing system
  • Comfort with learning new systems and processes
  • Passion for mental health and changing the healthcare landscape

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the physician team with administrative tasks related to the coordination of client care, including visibility of care referrals, helping clients connect to care, ensuring all consents and forms are completed prior to appointments, supporting physician leaves and transitions, and sending client reminders/notifications
  • Manage and document the processing of pertinent clinical documents, such as laboratory results, prior authorizations, external medical records, client assessments, and pharmacy correspondence requests
  • Work with our client’s client support team to coordinate care for clients
  • Support physician communication by responding to patient questions and communicating with the clinical managers
