Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable handling calls independently and making judgment calls
  • Competent with computers, smartphones, apps, and internet-based systems — you’ll be navigating our scheduling/documentation software and communicating via phone and text throughout each shift
  • Reliable access to a phone, computer/tablet, and internet during on-call hours
  • Prior experience in home care, healthcare, or customer service preferred
  • Familiarity with scheduling software a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer and respond to phone calls and text messages during on-call hours
  • Resolve caregiver and client issues as they arise (shift coverage, schedule changes, urgent concerns)
  • Document all calls and outcomes in our scheduling/documentation system
  • Escalate urgent or unresolved issues to management as needed
  • Maintain a professional, calm demeanor during after-hours contact
