Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills for working with drivers, brokers, and industry contacts.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, invoicing, and record-keeping.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred :
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Experience creating and managing filing systems (digital and/or physical).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Flexibility to adjust to scheduling demands in a dynamic industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Load Booking / Dispatching (70%)
Search for and secure appropriate loads to maximize profitability.
Prepare cost analyses for each load to support decision-making.
Communicate with drivers and brokerages to successfully book freight.
Maintain accurate load files and submit required load documents promptly.
Invoicing (15%)
Prepare invoices for completed loads.
Submit invoices in accordance with client and broker guidelines to ensure timely payment.
Track payment receipts for all completed loads.
Data Tracking (10%)
Monitor and analyze load data to ensure ongoing profitability.
Maintain accurate records for reporting and operational review.
Administrative Support (5%)
Assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
