Junior Business Development Coordinator
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects acceptable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (or Google Sheets/Slides)
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, interpret and comprehend contractual and technical documents.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and move quickly through assignments to ensure deadlines are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Using internal and external resources, conduct market, industry, and competitor research to assist in making bid/no bid decisions on opportunities
- Assist with proposals/presentations for federal clients
- Analyze internal and external data to support business development strategies
- Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership
- Support pipeline analysis to include reviewing the pipeline to identify stagnant/out-of-date opportunities and conduct research to obtain current status, if available
- Assist in maintaining accurate records in CRM tools and proposal libraries
- Participate in strategic planning meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Work closely with Sr. Director of Business Strategy to develop and maintain conference schedules, organizational action items, and other activities as requested
- Understands their own abilities and limitations and understands when to seek guidance.
- Professionally interacts with colleagues, members of the public, clients, and business associates.
- Complies with all company policies and applicable laws
