JavaScript Engineer in Product Platform Core Team

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Solid proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+)
• Basic to intermediate TypeScript knowledge
• Experience with Node.js server-side development
• Knowledge and experience with Docker
• Practical experience with SQL queries, schemas, and indexing basics
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of asynchronous programming in Node.js
• Awareness of clean code principles and maintainable coding practices
• Understanding of Object-Oriented programming and basic SOLID principles
• Experience writing unit tests
• Understanding of HTTP protocol and basic web security concepts
• Proficient understanding of Git

Preferred

• Experience with another programming language besides JavaScript/TypeScript
• Basic understanding of client-side concepts (event loop, browser platform)
• Experience with ReactJS and its ecosystem
• Competent English (reading, writing, speaking)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in full-cycle development of backend features and occasional frontend work
• Support and maintain existing functionality across the platform
• Contribute engineering expertise to deliver new product functionality
• Implement features according to product vision with proper test coverage
• Validate functional and non-functional requirements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality functionality
