Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• NEBOSH certification (Mandatory).
• Basic First Aid certificate.
• Fire Safety Training certification.
• Basic understanding of Dubai Municipality safety requirements.
• Ability to identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions on construction sites.
• Basic understanding of risk assessments and method statements.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
• Ability to conduct toolbox talks effectively.
• Familiarity with scaffolding safety requirements.
• Awareness of lifting operations and associated hazards.
• Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure compliance with approved safety procedures, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Monitor and enforce Permit to Work (PTW) systems on site.
• Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefings for site personnel.
• Assist in preparation and implementation of risk assessments and safe work method statements.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times on site.
• Monitor scaffolding safety, lifting operations, and other high-risk activities.
• Report and investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe practices.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation as required.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and other relevant authority safety regulations.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to promote a strong safety culture.
• Support emergency response procedures, fire drills, and evacuation plans.
• Provide guidance and awareness training to workers on safety practices.
