Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience with talent acquisition tools such as Workday, Taleo, UltiPro, or HRIS platforms like Kronos or PeopleSoft.
- Strong understanding of recruiting best practices across academic and clinical staff sectors.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with candidates at all levels of seniority.
- Expertise in negotiation tactics, employment law, contracts management, and employee relations.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sourcing strategies accordingly for competitive advantage.
- Skilled in using ATS systems like Salesforce or iCIMS for lead generation and pipeline management.
- Demonstrated success in managing teams of recruiters or collaborating with cross-functional HR teams on succession planning initiatives.
- Experience with social media management for employer branding purposes across multiple platforms.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems such as Paychex or UltiPro for employee data management and reporting purposes.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in candidate tracking, documentation, and compliance procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead full cycle recruiting processes for faculty positions, from sourcing and outreach to interviewing, negotiations, and onboarding.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Lever, iCIMS, or PeopleSoft to manage candidate pipelines efficiently.
- Conduct research on market trends in academia and clinical staff recruitment to develop targeted sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with C-suite executives and department heads to understand hiring needs and align recruitment efforts with strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective candidates through cold calling, social media management, and candidate relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Manage employer branding initiatives on platforms like LinkedIn and other social media channels to attract diverse talent pools.
- Ensure compliance with employment law, labor law, HR sourcing standards, and employment & labor regulations throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate candidate evaluation processes including interviews, skills assessments, background checks, and contract negotiations.
- Support campus recruitment efforts by engaging with academic institutions and participating in career fairs or training & development initiatives.
- Oversee onboarding activities such as employee orientation, contract signing, and employee evaluation procedures to ensure a seamless transition for new faculty members.
