Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Persistence: You don’t stop until you get a confirmation. You are comfortable making frequent outbound calls to insurance companies and navigating automated phone trees.
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously without letting deadlines slip.
  • Professionalism: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you will be representing our brand to major insurance carriers.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with email, digital faxing software, and CRM systems.
  • Experience: Previous experience in insurance claims, restoration, medical billing, or a high-volume administrative role is a plus, but the right candidate will be trained.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Document Transmission: Send estimate packages, photos, proof of loss, and other critical claim documents to insurance carriers via email, online portals, and fax.
  • Verification & Follow-up: Proactively call insurance providers to identify the assigned adjuster and verify that all documents have been received and uploaded to their systems.
  • Relationship Management: Act as a professional point of contact between our firm and insurance carrier clerical staff.
  • Data Entry & Tracking: Update our internal CRM [e.g., Zoho] to log communication dates, contact names, and document status.
  • Problem Solving: If a document is “lost” or unassigned, you will investigate and resubmit until confirmation is secured.
