REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive upholstery is a significant advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in automotive upholstery, demonstrating a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in using specialized upholstery tools such as staple guns, tack strips, awls, and industrial sewing machines.
• Advanced knowledge of different automotive fabrics, leather types, vinyl, foam, and their installation properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Skilled in pattern making and precise cutting of various automotive fabrics, leather, and vinyl to ensure a perfect fit.
• Expertly install and secure upholstery materials, including headliners, door panels, seat covers, and carpets, using specialized tools.
• Perform meticulous repairs and restorations on damaged or worn upholstery, matching original textures and colors.
• Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines for intricate stitching, piping, and decorative embellishments.
