REQUIREMENTS
- Experience as a cost management professional with a minimum of 12 years in the construction industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or other Construction related field.
- Chartered RICS Membership (MRICS)
- Minimum 12 years post graduate experience
- Minimum 5 years in Dubai or the Middle East
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take ownership and lead work under minimal direction on all stages of pre-contract phase, for measurement, feasibility studies, cost estimation, value engineering, market testing.
- Provide advisory on procurement strategies, tender analysis, and contractor selection.
- Manage projects and resources according to the requirements of the project and act as primary point of contact for clients on mid and large scale projects.
- Accountable for a variety of deliverables throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects, generally within an end market sector.
- Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood.
- Manage quality control and ensure all procedures are complied with.
- Manage benchmarking, data collection, internal reporting.
- Mentor junior staff to enable career development.
- Monitor and manage the performance of direct reports.
