REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as a cost management professional with a minimum of 12 years in the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or other Construction related field.
• Chartered RICS Membership (MRICS)
• Minimum 12 years post graduate experience
• Minimum 5 years in Dubai or the Middle East

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take ownership and lead work under minimal direction on all stages of pre-contract phase, for measurement, feasibility studies, cost estimation, value engineering, market testing.
• Provide advisory on procurement strategies, tender analysis, and contractor selection.
• Manage projects and resources according to the requirements of the project and act as primary point of contact for clients on mid and large scale projects.
• Accountable for a variety of deliverables throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects, generally within an end market sector.
• Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood.
• Manage quality control and ensure all procedures are complied with.
• Manage benchmarking, data collection, internal reporting.
• Mentor junior staff to enable career development.
• Monitor and manage the performance of direct reports.
