Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in a medical office is preferred.
Experience with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel is preferred.
Proficiency in Simple Practice or similar medical software is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing files and records effectively.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Familiarity with medical billing processes is an advantage but not mandatory.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with mental healthcare providers to streamline office procedures and enhance patient care services.
Manage patient records and ensure accurate filing of documents in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Create patient charts in Simple Practice by transferring information from one screen to another.
Assist with medical billing processes, including verifying insurance information and processing claims.
Utilize Simple Practice for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and maintaining electronic health records.
Email patients, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for our patients.
