Web Developer (Shopify Plus)

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• 1–3 years of experience working with Shopify Plus or similar e-commerce platforms
• Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), Liquid, and Shopify theme development
• Proficiency with SCSS and modern build tooling such as Vite, Webpack, or npm
• Experience translating Figma designs into high-fidelity front-end code
• Strong command of Git/GitHub workflows and code reviews
• Experience with custom Shopify apps, extensions, and functions
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience with MarTech integrations (e.g., Klaviyo) and consuming GraphQL/REST APIs
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred

• Experience with React
• Experience with server-side languages such as Ruby or Node.js
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate on the development and maintenance of the site and backend systems
• Translate Figma design specifications into performant, maintainable, and ADA-compliant code
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms including email marketing, analytics, and MarTech tooling
• Research, develop, and test new features and technologies in collaboration with the Senior Developer
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making and site architecture
• Communicate clearly with key stakeholders regarding project status and priorities
