Title Curative Specialist

REQUIREMENTS
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard for accuracy and quality of work.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills.
- Experience with title examination, curative workflows, or related real estate/title processes is preferred.
- Comfortable using title production software, electronic recording platforms, and general business technology (or able to learn quickly).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review title reports and supporting documents to identify defects, discrepancies, or potential risks impacting clear title.
- Research and analyze legal documents, including deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, and surveys, to confirm ownership and determine curative steps.
- Communicate with lenders, agents, attorneys, and clients to obtain information, provide updates, and move curative items toward resolution.
- Prepare and coordinate the execution of curative documents such as affidavits, corrective deeds, releases, and other required instruments.
- Partner with title examiners, underwriters, and legal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex title issues.
- Track, document, and maintain organized records of all curative actions, notes, and supporting documentation.
