Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

– Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Management, or related field.
– Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE roles within oil and gas industry, specifically offshore and island operations.
– Proven experience working with ADNOC standards and PMC environments.
– Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary HSE teams.
– In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, industry best practices, and international standards.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging offshore conditions.
– Certified HSE professional qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
– Proficiency in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response management.
– Demonstrated commitment to promoting a proactive safety culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Lead and manage the HSE team to implement safety policies and procedures across offshore and island operations.
– Develop, review, and enforce HSE standards to comply with ADNOC and regulatory requirements.
– Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
– Facilitate HSE training and awareness programs for all personnel to promote a safety-first culture.
– Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
– Collaborate with project management and operational teams to integrate HSE practices into daily operations.
– Ensure environmental compliance and promote sustainable practices in line with company and regulatory expectations.
– Monitor HSE performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
– Lead emergency response planning and exercises to ensure readiness.
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall health, safety, and environmental performance.
