Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

● Strong communication skills

● Basic computer proficiency

● Reliable laptop or smartphone and internet access

● Ability to learn quickly and follow established systems

● Professional and dependable work ethic

● Willingness to complete training and IRS due diligence requirements

Preferred

● Previous tax preparation experience

● PTIN registration or willingness to obtain one

● Customer service, sales, or administrative experience

● Familiarity with tax software

● Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Prepare individual income tax returns (Form 1040)

● Conduct client interviews and collect necessary documents

● Identify eligible deductions and tax credits

● Use company-provided tax software to prepare and electronically file returns

● Provide professional customer service and maintain client confidentiality

● Follow IRS guidelines and company procedures

● Participate in weekly training and professional development

● Build and maintain your client base through referrals and networking
