REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a tailor, seamstress or garment alteration specialist
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction and sewing techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Familiarity with sewing machines, cutting tools and garment fitting techniques

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct accurate client measurements to ensure a perfect fit, considering individual body shapes, proportions and personal preferences.
• Perform expert garment alterations, including resizing, hemming, adjusting seams and modifying patterns according to client specifications.
• Consult with clients to understand their style preferences and provide professional recommendations on fabric options, design modifications and alteration possibilities.
• Maintain an organized, efficient workspace, ensuring all tools, materials and equipment are properly stored and in optimal condition.
• Manage time effectively to handle multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
