Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in structural engineering, preferably within the building and construction industry.
  • Experience with large-scale projects, demonstrating a capacity for managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, and RISA-3D is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of engineering work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills can be an asset, especially in multicultural project settings.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Conduct detailed structural analysis and design of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure to ensure safety and compliance with local codes.
  • Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural systems with architectural vision while maintaining functionality.
  • Perform site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing structures and identify necessary repairs or reinforcements.
  • Utilize advanced software tools for modeling and simulation, providing innovative solutions to complex structural challenges.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and specifications, ensuring clarity and precision in documentation.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to ensure project delivery meets quality standards.
  • Research and stay updated on the latest materials and construction methods to incorporate sustainable practices into design.
  • Oversee the preparation of construction drawings and details, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Attend client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
