Structural Design Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
• 8 years of professional experience in building and infrastructure projects
• Working towards or Chartered Engineer status (MICE, MIStructE)
• Experience designing steel, concrete, and masonry structures to American and British Standards
• Familiarity with local UAE Authority design requirements
• Proficiency in structural software such as CSi ETABS, SAFE, Robot structural Analysis, STAAD, or Prokon
• Experience working in a 3D design environment and familiarity with BIM protocols

RESPONSIBILITES

• Perform structural engineering design activities ensuring accuracy and compliance with international standards
• Take personal responsibility and ownership of projects
• Produce deliverables within programmed timescales
• Share knowledge and mentor less experienced team members
• Interpret and apply client, industry, and our client’s standards
• Work collaboratively with our client’s local and international offices
