Structural Engineer (Bridge)

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Bridge, Civil, or Structural Engineering
• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in the design of bridges, underpasses, or rail structures
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to review BIM models on Navisworks
• Experience with analysis and design software such as Midas, Etabs, Safe, STAAD, or CSI Bridge
• Ability to develop design spreadsheets

Preferred

• MSc level education
• Chartered or PE license
• Experience with UAE/Middle East projects
• Experience in inspection and assessment of transportation structures

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the development of design concepts and detailed design of bridges, underpasses, rail structures, and stations
• Produce detailed design information including calculations and design sketches
• Liaise with CAD/BIM Technicians for the production of drawings
• Plan and carry out site inspections of structures as required
• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Carry out risk assessments and provide design information for Health and Safety files
