Steel Fabrication Engineer

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in steel fabrication, preferably in closets, kitchens, or interior fit-out industry.
• Proven UAE experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication techniques, welding methods, and finishing processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (3D knowledge such as SolidWorks is an advantage).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
• Good understanding of materials, hardware, and accessories used in kitchens and wardrobes.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting lists for steel components used in closets and kitchen units.
• Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure accurate execution of approved drawings.
• Supervise steel fabrication processes including welding, bending, cutting, and finishing.
• Ensure compliance with UAE standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements.
• Conduct material take-offs, cost estimation, and production planning.
• Inspect fabricated items for quality, dimensions, and finish before delivery and installation.
• Provide technical support during installation and resolve site-related issues.
• Optimize fabrication methods to reduce material wastage and production time.
• Maintain proper documentation for drawings, revisions, and production records.
