REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluency in Tamil or any South Indian language is highly preferred for effective communication with staff and customers.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining high kitchen standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and cook a variety of traditional South Indian dishes, ensuring authenticity in flavors and presentation.
  • Manage inventory and stock levels of ingredients, with a focus on sourcing high-quality local produce and spices.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Create and update menu items to reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences, showcasing regional specialties.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and best practices specific to South Indian cuisine.
