Senior Shopify Full Stack Developer

REQUIREMENTS

• 7-10 years of full stack development experience
• At least 4 years building Shopify themes and apps with Liquid and React
• Proven track record of owning end-to-end Shopify builds from architecture to deployment
• Experience building shared themes or design systems across multiple brands
• Daily proficiency with AI coding tools
• Deep command of Shopify Plus, Liquid, React/Next.js, Node.js, Tailwind, GraphQL, and REST APIs
• Familiarity with headless commerce approaches

Preferred

• Experience with AWS or GCP
• Experience with personalization frameworks
• Experience with performance monitoring tools

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the shared theme and design system architecture across all Grüns storefronts
• Architect and ship major features including bundle builders and membership flows
• Build AI-powered engineering workflows using tools like Claude Code and Cursor
• Design scalable systems and developer tooling to speed up CRO testing and brand rollouts
• Maintain site performance, SEO/GEO readiness, accessibility, and uptime
• Build integrations between Shopify Plus and backend systems like CRM, CDP, and order management
• Partner with Ecom, Growth, and Design teams to translate business priorities into technical milestones
• Champion engineering quality with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
