Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

BSc. in a STEM related discipline.

A Ph.D. with a focus Earth Observation (EO) with 1+ year of experience in software development or A Master’s degree with 3+ year of experience in developing EOFast prototyping skills, including comprehensive feature integration during all cycles of development.

Certification in AI, machine learning, or geospatial analytics (e.g., Google Cloud AI, TensorFlow, or Esri certifications).

Expert-level proficiency in Python.

Hands-on experience with one or more GIS packages (QGIS, ArcGIS, etc.)

Hands-on experience with libraries such as Scikit-learn, OpenCV, Pillow, Rasterio.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with 3D data processing (LiDAR, stereo-photogrammetry)

Experience in satellite data processing or working with space-tech companies.

Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for big data processing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement advanced algorithms for processing and analyzing remote sensing data from satellites and other geospatial sources.

Take end-to-end ownership of remote sensing features and related projects, exploring the possibilities offered by modern Earth Observation.

Develop AI-powered algorithms for the analysis of multispectral and hyperspectral data.

Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate machine learning techniques into remote sensing workflows.

Conduct large-scale data analysis to identify patterns and trends in geospatial data, supporting business intelligence and decision-making.

Create AI-powered models to enhance the accuracy of geospatial data interpretation for applications in mobility, agriculture, and disaster management.

Design PoCs focused on Deep Learning as well as other traditional remote sensing processing.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in remote sensing, AI, and geospatial analysis.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in data security and privacy.
