Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering (6+ years for senior level)
• Hands-on production experience with AWS (EKS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFront)
• Strong Terraform experience writing reusable modules and managing state
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Practical experience with GitOps workflows and ArgoCD
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash or Python
• Understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and API Gateway patterns

Preferred

• Experience with Kafka, SQS, and SNS
• Experience with AWS Amplify and Next.js deployment pipelines
• Experience operating infrastructure in regulated industries (gaming, fintech, healthcare)
• Experience managing multi-account, multi-tenant AWS environments at scale

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Own and evolve the Kubernetes (EKS) platform with GitOps-based delivery via ArgoCD
• Write and maintain Terraform modules to manage AWS infrastructure
• Support serverless services and event-driven architectures using Lambda, SQS, SNS, and Kafka
• Manage and troubleshoot AWS Amplify deployments for Next.js applications
• Improve observability, alerting, and on-call runbooks
• Participate in an on-call rotation and lead incident response
• Mentor other engineers on infrastructure and deployment best practices
