DevOps Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
• 2+ years of explicit focus on Azure ecosystems
• Deep competence in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Bicep)
• Technical mastery of Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, and Kustomize
• Experience with KEDA or equivalent streaming metrics for autoscaling
• Proficiency in managing multi-stage deployment pipelines via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Solid understanding of enterprise network routing (VNets, Private Link, NSGs)
• Experience writing advanced KQL expressions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field

Preferred

• Proficiency with Kubernetes Workload Identity and Azure Key Vault security profiles
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry and API Management
• Experience with Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, or ADLS Gen2
• Active certifications: AZ-104, AZ-400, or CKA

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and govern AWA Azure infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep
• Design and optimize automated Azure DevOps pipelines for container compilation and deployment
• Manage multi-namespace AKS clusters, network policies, and KEDA autoscaling
• Oversee container registries, image signing, and OPA Gatekeeper admission control
• Administer access architectures, managed identities, and Azure Key Vault secret rotation
• Construct KQL queries and alerting conditions within Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Implement platform security, private connectivity, and enterprise firewall architectures
• Define and validate automated disaster recovery failover paths
