Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent in English
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience designing and scaling high-performance backend systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Python
• Experience building APIs and working with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of system performance optimization and regulatory compliance
• Experience with data pipelines and analytics integrations
• Experience with incident management and monitoring systems

Preferred

• Experience with geolocation-based access controls
• Experience mentoring other engineers

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend solutions and robust APIs
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and data privacy regulations
• Support and guide engineers by sharing best practices and contributing to technical excellence
• Partner with product, finance, compliance, and support teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
