Senior AI Engineer

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer shipping production systems
• Hands-on experience with voice agents using platforms like ElevenLabs, Retell, or Nextiva
• Deep understanding of multi-turn conversation design and state management
• Knowledge of LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Proficiency in automated testing and solid engineering fundamentals like error handling and retry strategies
• Ability to work in Americas time zones
• Strong English communication skills for articulating technical tradeoffs to stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build production software including backend services, data models, and CRUD applications using proprietary platforms
• Design, implement, and deploy conversational agents featuring multi-turn flows, state management, and tool usage
• Own end-to-end technical delivery for high-priority customer implementations from architecture to production launch
• Manage real-world voice system challenges such as latency, interruptions, and error recovery
• Translate customer requirements and SOWs into clear technical designs and execution plans
• Build and maintain integrations with external APIs, webhooks, and third-party data sources
• Write comprehensive automated tests, including unit and end-to-end validation for user journeys
• Debug complex production issues across agent logic, prompts, and external dependencies
