Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma required
- Experience in infusion healthcare intake, referrals, insurance verification, or prior authorization required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process new referrals, including insurance verification and prior authorizations
- Communicate with patients to review benefits, copays, and next steps before start of care
- Document benefit and authorization details accurately in intake/practice management systems
- Manage ongoing patient changes (insurance, medication, dosage, provider, location)
- Maintain prior authorization renewals for active patients
- Collaborate with clinical teams, payers, and referring offices
