Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years related experience (customer service or medical/administrative)
- Detail oriented and a quick learner
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Computer skills required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists a diverse set of patients calling to schedule intake appointments
- Initiates referral process and calls insurance companies to verify benefits, co-pays, deductibles, etc.
- Enters patient data into an EHR system and schedules appointments
- Adjusts to changes and works through issues as they arise
- Maintains confidentiality
