REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in real estate administrative roles or property management with a strong understanding of real estate law and Fair Housing regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to interpret legal documents related to real estate transactions confidently.
- Prior experience with administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the entire transaction process from executed contract through closing, ensuring all deadlines are met and documentation is complete including but not limited to the following work checklist:
- Review Agreement of Sale & supporting documents for dates
- Send introductory emails & important date reminders
- Request earnest payment & ensure earnest money deposit received/sent
- Follow up on title document
- Retrieve missing documents
- Confirm mortgage commitment & that appraisal has been ordered
- Schedule use and occupancy and send U&O checklists accordingly
- Request & circulate HOA documents (when applicable)
- Send utility & settlement notice information
- Ordering deed packages & mortgage payoffs
- Request ALTA statement
- Maintain regular communication with all parties
