QA Specialist – IME Reports

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation standards
• Experience reviewing or auditing medical reports, especially IME or similar assessments
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies accurately
• Familiarity with orthopedic, neurological, pain management terminology, and psychiatry
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and clarify report details

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and verify IME reports for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established medical standards and guidelines
• Cross-check medical records against report content to ensure completeness and proper documentation
• Identify discrepancies or errors in reports related to medical terminology or record details and escalate issues appropriately
• Collaborate with medical professionals and team members to clarify report ambiguities or missing information
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on report quality trends and potential process enhancements
• Maintain turnaround times and workflow deadlines
