Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years of administrative, healthcare, customer service, or patient-facing experience required
  • Behavioral health or private practice administrative experience preferred
  • Experience with patient intake, scheduling, insurance verification, or claim submission is a plus
  • Comfortable learning healthcare software systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 preferred
  • Comfort using Apple products is helpful, as we are a Mac-based company

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer incoming calls from patients seeking mental health services
  • Gather patient information and help connect patients with appropriate providers
  • Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
  • Assist with insurance benefit review and communicate relevant information clearly
  • Submit claims and help resolve claim-related or administrative issues
  • Communicate professionally with patients, providers, clients, and team members
  • Document information accurately in our systems
  • Follow established workflows while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Manage competing priorities in a remote work environment
