Mobile QA Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience as a Mobile QA Engineer (Lead/Senior) in high-load payments, crypto, or regulated domains
• 5+ years of experience delivering quality in production environments
• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing of mobile applications and backend systems
• Deep understanding of test design, exploratory testing, and regression strategies
• Strong API testing and debugging skills
• Proficiency with Postman, Swagger, Charles Proxy, and SQL
• Experience with Android Studio, TestFlight, Sentry, Grafana, and Firebase
• Proficiency with Git and test management platforms like Qase or TestRail

Preferred

• Experience with React Native applications and mobile testing frameworks
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering and testing workflows
• Understanding of security-sensitive user journeys and asset protection mechanisms
• Experience with load testing tools such as k6, JMeter, or Locust
• Experience working with KYC/AML systems

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test complex fintech and crypto workflows including transactions, card operations, swaps, KYC flows, and asset transfers
• Own quality hands-on across mobile (iOS/Android), backend services, and back-office tools
• Participate in feature design to identify risks early in the development lifecycle
• Investigate production issues, reproduce defects, and ensure root cause resolution
• Collaborate with developers on automated testing strategy and coverage
• Design comprehensive test scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Set the QA bar by building templates, checklists, and bug-reporting standards
• Oversee production monitoring using Sentry, Firebase, and Grafana
• Lead incident response and post-mortems to strengthen system reliability
